However one of the great pleasures of Samui is to explore some of the smaller, virtually uninhabited beaches by taking one of the many small tracks that lead off the main ring road around the island and where you'll discover all sorts of hidden delights.

Great cuisine and restaurants.
There is an abundance of restaurants on Koh Samui, offering every type of cuisine, particularly fresh seafood. In Bang Po (just 20 minutes from the villa) you'll find some delightfully quiet beach restaurants that offer a great choice of excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere and there are many other restaurants dotted along the coast at Bophut and Chaweng. Or for those more upmarket evenings why not treat yourself to dining at one of the island's many hotels and resorts.
The traditional fishing village of Nathon, with something for everyone.
Less than a 10 minute drive from the villa you'll find the fishing village of Nathon which, despite having all the facilities you could need, has retained its original charm. Here you can find an array of restaurants and bars, a diverse range of shops and boutiques (even a Tesco supermarket) which sell everything from T-shirts, handbags, flip flops, sports shoes and sunglasses, as well as banks enabling you to exchange or withdraw money if needed. Two highly recommended beachfront eateries are Starry Seafood & John Tong which are both unpretentious & great value for money.
Listen to the sound of the sea lapping at the shore at Bang Po.
A short drive from the villa in the other direction and you'll come to Bang Po with its quiet beaches fringed with palm trees and a great selection of beach front restaurants.
Head to Chaweng for a bustling town and vibrant night life.
The night clubs & busier shopping area of Chaweng are only 30 minutes drive from the Villa.
